Dr Matthew Jones MD
Matt is a consultant neurologist at Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences. He is also an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Manchester. His clinical interests are general and acute neurology with sub-specialization in cognitive neurology. His research interests are in the clinical, genetic and pathological classification of focal dementia syndromes.
His teaching interests lie in both undergraduate and postgraduate education. He is academic lead for year 4 of the MBChB programme in Manchester and has particular expertise in the use of mobile and technology enhanced learning. He is Neurology Training Programme Director for the North West region and Chair of the Association of British Neurologists’ Education Committee.
Dr Keira Markey
Keira is an academic neurology trainee with an interest in idiopathic intracranial hypertension and other headache syndromes.
Dr Christopher Hutchcroft
Chris is a final year neurology trainee with a specialist interest in neuro-ophthalmology. He is the Association of British Neurologists Training and Education Representative on the Education Committee.
Emily Pegg
Emily is a consultant neurologist with a specialist interest in Epilepsy. She also is an honorary senior lecturer with a research interest in hormones and epilepsy.
Rachael Power
Rachael is a consultant neurologist and clinical lead of the neurology department at Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences.
Daniel Whittam
Dan is a consultant neurologist with a specialist interest in Multiple Sclerosis and other neuroinflammatory conditions.
Rohan Ahmed
Rohan is a senior neurology trainee. He has helped to create this website as well as editable online handbooks for Manchester Centre for Clinical Neuroscience and the Walton Centre.
James Lilleker
James is a consultant neurologist and honorary senior lecturer with a specialist interest in muscle disorders.

Katy is a consultant neurologist with a special interest in disorders of the neuromuscular junction. She is currently also a Manchester Academic Health Sciences Centre neuroscience clinical research fellow.
